Setiap tahunnya National Geographic mengadakan kontes foto untuk para fotografer terbaik di seluruh dunia, untuk yang profesional mau pun amatir. Dan sekarang, kontes itu sedang berlangsung.
Submisi fotonya ada tiga kategori; manusia, tempat, dan alam. Hadiah dari kontes foto ini untuk juara pertama pada tiap kategori akan mendapatkan $2,500, dan pemenang grand prize-nya dapet $7,500 serta trip ke Washington, D.C. untuk berpartisipasi ke seminar foto NatGeo.
